Senior HR Generalist
$75k - $85kTowne Park
Compensation Annual base pay range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000. Compensation is based on the candidate’s job‑related skills, experience, education or training, and location. Benefits Employees are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and telemedicine benefits. Company‑paid basic life and AD&D insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, and an optional 401(k) retirement savings plan are also available. Paid Time Off Employees accrue 0.0654 hours of PTO per hour worked, up to a maximum of 136 hours per calendar year. Six paid holidays and up to four paid floating holidays are available annually. Eligibility may depend on job classification and length of employment. Job Summary The Senior HR Generalist reports to the HR Manager in the Field and provides full‑spectrum, front‑line human resources support and high‑touch customer service to operational leaders, associates, and clients in their area. Duties & Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day administration of local HR operations, including hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and training. Handle benefits and leave discussions with employees and supervisors. Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Document compliance with mandatory and non‑mandatory training, continuing education, safety training, anti‑harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams. Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings and facilitate the hiring process. Implement new‑hire orientation, ongoing training needs assessments, and employee recognition programs. Administer compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance, and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale initiatives. Respond to employment‑related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; refer complex or sensitive matters to appropriate staff. Coach leaders through performance management and support disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new HR technologies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong knowledge of employment‑related laws and regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; high‑level advanced functions in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to learn and use the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems; experience with Workday is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred. Two to four years of Human Resources experience with exposure to HR systems, benefits, and payroll. Certification such as PHR or SHRM‑CP is a plus. Valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds and tolerate moderate stress in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to navigate all departments of the organization’s facilities. Scope & Work Environment Work is performed in a climate‑controlled environment, with occasional exposure to inclement weather. Work from home and on‑site presence are required. Frequent local travel between sites and up to 25% domestic travel outside the district may be required.
