Senior CorVision Developer
Location: Remote (Atlanta, GA Preferred)
Job Description: We are seeking a Senior CorVision Developer to support and maintain mission-critical legacy applications running on OpenVMS. This role requires deep expertise in CorVision, OpenVMS, DCL scripting, and RDB, while partnering with modernization teams as legacy systems transition to cloud-based platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure platform stability, support production operations, maintain documentation, and assist with data migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain legacy applications built on CorVision and OpenVMS.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for OpenVMS system administration and DCL scripting.
- Support RDB, Oracle SQL, and legacy database integrations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high system availability.
- Create and maintain operational, recovery, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with modernization teams on application migration, process mapping, and data migration activities.
- Provide production support and resolve complex technical issues.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience with OpenVMS environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with CorVision development.
- Expertise in DCL (Digital Command Language) scripting.
- Experience supporting RDB (OpenVMS) databases.
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL and legacy system integrations.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
