Quick Facts Location: Macon, GA (888 Pine Street, zip 31201) Start Date: Negotiable, upon credentialing End Date/Duration: Ongoing, Full-Time opportunity Shift: Variable shifts including 10-hour days Monday-Thursday, 8-hour weekend shifts, 16-hour night coverage (no on-call) Hours/week: 36–40 hours Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (FNP or PNP not accepted) Experience: Minimum 2+ years as an NNP (excluding RN experience) Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $1.00/hour (discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance & disability options Employee stock purchase plan 401(k) with matching Long-term care, HSA, FSA options Additional voluntary benefits (Aflac plans, identity protection) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) What You’ll Do Provide advanced neonatal nursing care to newborns in the Level-III NICU Collaborate with Neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams Manage patient assessments, care planning, and interventions Utilize high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling therapies Support family-centered care and education Document clinical activities accurately and thoroughly Participate in quality improvement and clinical education initiatives What You Need Current Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Valid Georgia license or eligible for licensure 2+ years of recent NNP experience in a Level-III NICU setting Strong clinical skills in neonatal care and subspecialty procedures Excellent communication and teamwork abilities About the Assignment Be part of a dedicated team at a Magnet-recognized pediatric hospital known for nursing excellence and comprehensive neonatal services.
