Anticipate executive questions, concerns, risks, and organizational pain points while proactively developing recommendations and action plans. Serve as a trusted advisor and force multiplier for the VP and leadership team by driving alignment, accountability, and execution rigor across the organization. Hold self and partner organizations accountable to the high operational and performance bar established within OCI. Business Operations & Organizational Effectiveness Lead business operations programs for Engineering & Infrastructure organizations in partnership with CIO-office Business Operations teams. Establish and continuously improve operational best practices, forecasting mechanisms, tooling strategies, reporting frameworks, and organizational rhythms. Identify business process gaps, operational inefficiencies, and organizational changes needed to support a healthy, scalable organization. Drive leadership accountability for execution against organizational priorities, deliverables, and operational commitments. Program & Cross-Functional Execution Lead special projects and cross-cutting strategic programs spanning engineering, infrastructure, supply chain, product, and operations teams. Collaborate with engineering organizations to develop and maintain standards for physical deployment, testing metrics, logical deployment, and infrastructure readiness. Drive complex initiatives through influence across highly matrixed organizations without direct reporting authority. Manage risks, dependencies, escalations, and execution tracking across multiple concurrent strategic programs. Executive Communications & Reporting Deliver executive-level reporting including program summaries, business reviews, product documentation, business requirements, roadmap updates, release plans, and operational metrics. Establish executive operating rhythms including Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), staff meetings, and leadership updates. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and organizational planning. Organizational Development & Operational Excellence Develop operational strategies, governance mechanisms, and policies that improve scalability, consistency, and execution quality across the organization. Act as an educator, mentor, and evangelist for industry best practices, operational excellence, and OCI core values. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that elevate organizational maturity, execution discipline, and leadership effectiveness. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and customer obsession. Responsibilities 5+ years of experience in Chief of Staff, Technical Program Management, Business Operations, Engineering Operations, or Strategy roles. Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional organizations without direct authority. Strong executive presence with experience supporting VP or senior leadership-level leaders. Demonstrated expertise in business operations, organizational strategy, program execution, and operational reporting. Deep understanding of engineering development lifecycle processes, infrastructure deployment methodologies, and program management best practices. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executive-level presentations and documentation. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience within hyperscale data center, cloud infrastructure, or mission-critical engineering environments. Familiarity with engineering deployment standards, infrastructure testing methodologies, and operational readiness frameworks. Experience with enterprise reporting and project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI, Confluence, and Asana. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
