This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in the field, understanding how buildings are constructed, solving problems, and working alongside engineers, contractors, homeowners, architects, and other building professionals.

The right candidate may come from a variety of backgrounds , including structural engineering support, construction, inspections, architectural drafting, CAD, framing, building science, or construction management. What matters most to us is your ability to observe carefully, learn quickly, communicate clearly, take ownership of your work, and become a dependable member of our team.

What You’ll Do

• Measure and evaluate foundations, framing, floor systems, roof structures, walls, beams, columns, and connections

Your Background May Look Different

Excellent Field Technicians can come from many professional paths. Relevant experience may include residential or commercial construction, structural engineering support, construction management, building or home inspections, architectural or engineering drafting, CAD, framing or carpentry, building diagnostics, construction estimating, building science, or engineering/architecture education.

Relevant education is helpful, but significant hands-on construction or field experience may be equally valuable. Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software is valuable but is not required for every candidate.

You do not need to meet every qualification listed to apply. If your experience has given you a strong understanding of buildings, construction, field investigation, technical documentation, or practical problem solving, we encourage you to apply.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, develop a deeper understanding of structural systems and construction, and take on increasing responsibility as your knowledge and confidence grow.

We believe engineering and construction are team efforts, and we want to build a team where people respect one another’s expertise, depend on each other, share knowledge, and work together to deliver practical solutions for our clients.
