Sr. Assembler

The Sr. Assembler is responsible for building, assembling, and supporting the fabrication of complex rotating and process equipment systems used in industrial and energy applications. This includes skid-mounted packages such as pump systems, vessels, compressors, and engineered production equipment.

This role requires the ability to interpret detailed engineering drawing packages and assemble large, custom-built systems that support upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in oil & gas, fabrication shops, or industrial equipment assembly and can contribute quickly in a high-output, production-driven environment.

1st and 2nd shift openings available. Must be open to work 6-7 days a week as needed.

Sr. Assembler Details:

• Contract to Hire position
• $ 30.00 to $ 37.00 / hour
• Various shifts available (Monday through Saturday)

• Read, interpret, and build from detailed blueprints, P&IDs, and engineering drawing packages
• Assemble skid-mounted equipment such as pump systems, vessels, piping packages, and process units
• Work on rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, and blowers
• Install piping, valves, and fittings (PVF) within assembled systems
• Use hand and power tools (including torque wrenches) to complete precise mechanical assembly
• Perform basic fabrication and welding as needed
• Conduct quality checks to ensure assemblies meet engineering and safety standards
• Troubleshoot, identify defects, and complete rework or repairs
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines

Sr. Assembler Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and drawings
• Experience using standard mechanical tools and torque equipment
• Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience assembling skid-mounted or process equipment
• Background in oil & gas, fabrication, or heavy industrial environments
• Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, generators) Familiarity with ASME vessels or process piping systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
