Description

Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking an Entry Level Staff Accountant . Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for assisting in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries, monitoring and reconciling balance sheet accounts, and maintaining a fixed asset system across multiple entities in multiple countries, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries
• Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Learn and assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Involved in the analysis of financial information
• Assist with sales and property tax compliance, including preparation of returns
• Provide management with weekly and monthly KPI reports
• Assist in annual planning process
• Maintain fixed asset system across multiple entities in multiple countries
• Assist in inventory cost management and G/L reconciliation to internal inventory system
• Ad hoc reporting as needed

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or accredited lab
• Public Accounting experience a plus
