CDL Driver / Laborer

Dependable CDL Driver

We're looking for a dependable CDL Driver to safely operate our trucks and commercial vehicles, transporting crews, materials, and equipment to and from active job sites. This is a dual role: when you're not behind the wheel, you'll be a hands-on member of the crew, supporting field operations and general labor duties. We need someone who takes pride in driving safely and isn't afraid to jump in and get their hands dirty when the job calls for it.

What You'll Do

Driving (primary responsibility):

• Safely operate company trucks and commercial vehicles to transport crews, materials, tools, and equipment
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and all applicable traffic laws
• Keep accurate driving logs and required documentation
• Secure loads properly and ensure safe transport of materials and equipment
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles
• Report vehicle concerns, mechanical issues, or incidents to leadership promptly

Labor & field support (when not driving):

• Assist field crews with daily construction and utility operations
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment at job sites
• Support excavation, restoration, and general construction activities
• Assist with traffic control setup and safety zone preparation
• Operate basic hand tools and construction equipment safely
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and job sites
• Report unsafe conditions or incidents to leadership

Working Conditions

• This is an active, hands-on role that combines driving with physical work on construction sites. You'll spend time both on the road and in the field, working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Travel may be required based on project needs.
