Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Locums - Jacksonville, North Carolina, CRNA Opening Assignment Details Start Date: May 4, 2026 Contract Length: 3 months (ongoing potential) Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: Arrival at 6:45 AM; procedures begin 7:00-7:30 AM; typical end time between 2:00-3:30 PM (may vary) Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center / Office-based GI practice Coverage: 1 FTE No nights or weekends Clinical Responsibilities Patient volume: 17-24 patients per day (depending on physician) Patient population: Ages 16-80 Provide anesthesia for: * Gastroenterology procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, etc.) * Non-surgical weight loss procedures, including gastric sleeves Administer GI sedation and general anesthesia as appropriate Work in a fast-paced ASC environment Collaborate with physician and clinical staff Document all care in EMR Call Coverage No call required Practice Setting Ambulatory Surgery Center / Office-based setting Collaborative model with physician oversight Support staff includes 2-3 RNs/LPNs and 1-2 MAs per room EMR: gGastro (GMED) Requirements NBCRNA Certification - Required Active North Carolina license - Required Minimum 2-3 years experience - Required Experience with GI sedation and general anesthesia - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS - Required Preferred Experience GI or ambulatory anesthesia experience Office-based or ASC setting experience Additional Details Credentialing timeframe: ASAP (approximately 1 week or less) Why Kinston, North Carolina Kinston offers a relaxed Eastern North Carolina lifestyle with a growing healthcare presence and small-town charm.
