Job Title: Level 4 RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 3x12 Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: - Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience License: - RN License (New York ONLY) Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - Moderate sedation trained - Dysrhythmia-Telemetry Must-Have: - Experience with TAVR, Microclip, and Watchmen - Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever - Mechanical Circulatory Support experience, including ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD - Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA - Critical care or Cardiac experience Description: The Cath Lab is an inpatient and outpatient procedural lab focused on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. It features four Cath labs and three EP labs caring for adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions. The lab has a comprehensive program with pre and post-procedural care. The practice model includes a rich mix of RN staff collaborating with CVTs to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. Weekend, holiday, on-call, and callback shifts will be required based on unit needs. Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment is preferred. Cardiovascular certification or RCES is a plus.
