Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the plant operations team. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Brook Park, OH

Pay Range: $27.50

Shift: 4 th shift is Thursday thru Sunday, 6a – 4:30p

What's the Job?

• Install and troubleshoot industrial machine control systems including 3-wire and PLC controls.
• Install, repair, and diagnose both AC & DC motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480 volts.
• Maintain mechanical power transmission drives and related systems such as gearboxes, chains, sprockets, belts, and pulleys, as well as pneumatic equipment like compressors, blowers, and valves.
• Support the plant’s preventive maintenance system and apply industrial lubricants as needed.
• Assist with the setup, change-over, and disassembly of breader mills, scalper, and sifter equipment, ensuring smooth production flow.

What's Needed?

• Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, test equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies diligently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
