divh2Utility (2nd Shift) (Material Handler)/h2pAssists Maintenance Mechanics in repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing and electrical systems of industrial establishment./ph3Qualifications/h3ulliSix months to one year experience and/or training preferred/liliLanguage skills: ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. English is the primary spoken and written language of the facility./liliReasoning ability: ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables/liliEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary./liliCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions./liliFord Truck Certification preferred/li/ulh3Job Responsibilities/h3ulliAssist other maintenance personnel as required; furnishes them with materials, tools and supplies./liliPerform equipment maintenance tasks such as grease, lube, check and add fluids, clean and/or change filters./liliUse hand and power tools, electric drills, presses and grinders to perform maintenance tasks./liliBend, cut, and thread pipe, cut openings in walls, ceilings and trim of building./liliClear clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures/liliAbide by all company policies including, but not limited to, safety, environmental and plant rules; practices good housekeeping at all times/liliPerform other duties as assigned to support the mission of the department and the plant/li/ulh3Work Environment Conditions Subjected To In This Position/h3ulliFrequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk to electrical shock/liliFrequently exposed to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles/liliNoise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud./li/ulpInteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
