Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic Role with Growing Lamination Team $30-$50 an hour depending on experience. Room for growth and excellent benefits. Job Details Salary: $30 - $50 per hour Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process‑related equipment issues. Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Maintain motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, drives, dual coating stations, material unwinds and winders, accumulator systems, textile drying system, industrial blowers, and large natural‑gas burners. Diagnose equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions to improve reliability. Assist with installation, startup, commissioning, and optimization of new production equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation. Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed. Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, throughput, and equipment reliability. Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize plant performance.
