In this role, you'll work directly alongside the Credit Manager, gaining hands-on visibility into how credit decisions and collections strategy support daily operations. This opportunity offers a defined path from contract to a permanent position for the right candidate.ResponsibilitiesContact customers by phone and in writing to resolve outstanding balances and negotiate structured payment plans.Review account aging and monitor the order entry system daily, placing holds on new orders for delinquent accounts until payment or a payment commitment is secured.Compile and verify credit data to establish and update credit lines for new and existing customer accounts.Set up new accounts using tax certifications and credit references, and maintain accurate customer records, including ship-to addresses.Document payment agreements, follow up to confirm timely payment, and recommend write-offs or collection agency referrals when necessary.QualificationsRequired3-7 years of related credit, collections, or accounts receivable experience.High school diploma or equivalent required.Proficiency with computerized order entry systems and basic accounting and math skills.PreferredExperience negotiating payment plans with commercial or B2B accounts.Familiarity with verifying credit references and tax certifications.Prior experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or order-fulfillment environment.Why Join UsContract-to-hire opportunity with a defined path to a permanent role after approximately six months.Competitive pay at $30 - $33/hour.Onsite, full-time standard daytime business hours — no rotating shifts.Dedicated recruiter support throughout your assignment and the hiring process.
