With decades of experience and a reputation built on a people-first culture, safety, integrity, innovation, and customer satisfaction, we're proud to be at the forefront of the industry.Our Service division is growing and we are now hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians.Primary Role:The Electrical Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in industrial and manufacturing environments. The technician ensures compliance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standards while maintaining the reliability, safety, and efficiency of facility electrical infrastructure. This role supports uptime and continuous operations by servicing power distribution equipment, motors, controls, and related components.Responsibilities:Perform electrical preventive maintenance and testing in accordance with NFPA 70B, OEM specifications, and NETA standardsConduct infrared thermography to identify abnormal heat signatures and potential electrical faultsComplete visual inspections of electrical components, wiring, and connections to identify wear, contamination, or damageClean, lubricate, and mechanically service electrical equipment to ensure proper performance and longevityPerform electrical testing on power distribution systems, control equipment, and motors to verify proper functionalityAssess equipment condition and operating environments to identify maintenance risks and improvement opportunitiesApply proper safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc-flash awareness, and reviewing current arc-flash studiesSupport Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives and integrate safe work practices into all job tasksMaintain accurate documentation of inspections, test results, corrective actions, and recommendationsProactively identify and mitigate potential issues to minimize downtime and cost impactsCommunicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members regarding work performed and equipment conditionInstruct, implement and enforce the company safety program and site specific safety requirements incidents are preventable is critical to our successRequirements:Ideally 5+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance settingStrong understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and industrial electrical installationsAbility to develop and execute preventive maintenance strategies aligned with industry standardsHigh proficiency using electrical tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipmentStrong computer proficiency, including the ability to generate, review, upload, and send reports and project informationAbility to interpret and apply arc?flash studies and safety protocolsExtensive knowledge of current NEC rules and regulationsExtensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E and other rules and regulations in regards to construction safetyStrong knowledge of scheduling and reporting processes for maintenance activitiesIdentification and mitigation of potential issues before cost impactsExcellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and customer interactionCustomer growth mindset with a focus on reliability, safety, and productivityWell-developed decision-making skills, particularly regarding equipment safety and operational impactDemonstrates and enforces company and site?specific safety requirements with zero tolerance for unsafe behaviors, reinforcing that all incidents are preventable through consistent safe work practicesNFPA 70E and NFPA 70B electrical safety and maintenance training/certification preferred, but not requiredOEM-specific equipment training and certification preferred, but not requiredNETA electrical testing and maintenance certification, preferably QEMW, preferred but not requiredAbility to travel frequently up to 100% of the time, including by airline and other methodsAbove average mechanical aptitude, basic mathematic ability, and the ability to read construction documentsThe willingness to participate in field training, whether it by OJT, classroom-based, or completely virtualWhile performing the duties of this job, employee is required to perform the essential functions of the role with or without accommodations. This includes working at heights over 30 feet.To stretch out, extend, or put forth a bodily part. To touch or grasp something, by extending or stretching. To touch, lift, hold or operate with the hands up to 50 times daily.To bend forward or down from the middle of the waist or the middle of the back, to bend, downwards, to lower oneself and/or to move freely on hands and knees between 20-50 times daily.Perform skilled work in cramped areas, overhead, at heights, and in a variety of weather conditions.Ready to build what's next?
