Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an Emergency Room setting
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and ER protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to diverse patient populations in the Emergency Room, including assessment, triage, intervention, and evaluation
• Collaborate closely with physicians, healthcare team members, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and operate medical equipment as required
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation in compliance with hospital policies
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
• Respond rapidly to emergencies, providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions
• Uphold patient confidentiality and the highest nursing standards
