Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance C&S Contracting Co., a division of CMES The Concrete Carpenter / Finisher supports heavy civil construction projects by performing concrete work, forming, and general job site duties. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and project requirements. Key Responsibilities Set, align, and remove concrete forms Place and tie rebar for concrete pours Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete (screed, float, trowel) Form joints and edges using appropriate tools Operate tools and equipment such as vibrators and power trowels Assist with directing concrete placement during pours Monitor weather impact on curing and finishing Maintain clean and organized job sites Accurately complete daily timecards and report work performed Follow all OSHA and company safety standards at all times Communicate effectively with Foreman and team regarding job progress or issues Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience 3–5 years of experience in concrete finishing or carpentry Heavy civil or construction experience preferred Licenses & Certifications Valid driver’s license required OSHA or trade certifications a plus Skills & Abilities Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and quality Team-oriented with good communication skills Familiarity with construction tools, materials, and processes Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs Work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions Exposure to noise, dust, and construction equipment Work Environment Outdoor construction sites across project locations Work may include exposure to weather, heavy equipment, and elevated areas Travel may be required depending on project needs Performance Expectations Deliver quality work that meets project specifications Follow all safety policies with zero exceptions Maintain productivity and reliability on the job site Demonstrate teamwork and a positive attitude Uphold C&S Contracting Co. core values and company standards Apply Now!!!
