Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance SupervisorPrimarily responsible for supervising the maintenance mechanics in his specific area of responsibility (i.e. paper mill, pulp mill, power department, etc.). The supervisor is responsible for the safety, training and assignment of work to the maintenance personnel in his area. He/she is responsible for maintenance spending in his area along with the other members of the maintenance team (maintenance planner, operating department maintenance coordinator and operating department superintendent). The supervisor has the responsibility for seeing that his/her mechanics conduct themselves in accordance with all corporate, division and mill safety and environmental rules and procedures. In addition, he/she is responsible for making sure that the mechanics in his/her area are using the proper parts and equipment to complete all maintenance work appropriately for their safety and those of the other people in the area and that the equipment in his area is maintained in such a way that the equipment runs reliably and is cost effectively maintained. An equivalent combination of education and on the job experience instead of an Associate's degree is acceptable.The salary range for this position is $93,000.00 - $155,000.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The range listed is also the expected pay for roles in Illinois and Colorado.
