Custodian

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Custodian to perform a wide range of custodial and maintenance duties in order to provide clean, orderly and safe environment. They are responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of an area(s).


Requirements

• One (1) year of custodial experience preferred
• High school diploma preferred
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

• $24/hr
• 40 hrs/week
• 13 Week Contract to Start- likely long term
• Job Description:
• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Custodial o Daily cleaning at the Burlington Drop-in, Pearl Street Residence, The Landing and The Nightly Shelter. Included but not limited to vacuuming, trash, surface cleaning, mopping, bathrooms, and offices. o Weekly extended cleaning at the Burlington Drop-in, Pearl Street Residence, and the Landing o Two times per week cleaning at other Burlington properties o Take a proactive approach to the cleanliness and appearance of all Spectrum properties and spaces o Custodial duties expected to be approximately 20 hours per week • Maintenance o Perform basic maintenance & repairs to Spectrum property, spaces, furniture, or on behalf of staff o Tasks will include but are not limited to: a. Maintaining and prioritizing staff maintenance request b. Furniture assembly c. Painting d. General building maintenance e. Delivery of packages & furniture between locations f. Minor landscaping/exterior building cleaning g. Coordination with outside vendors on larger building or maintenance projects Knowledge and Skills Required • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general construction or minor repairs & maintenance • A valid driver’s license
