Director of Quality

Director of Quality – Summary Directs the Quality Program, including regulatory compliant operations and the effectiveness of quality assessment and performance improvement for all hospitals in their region. Collaborates with regional Quality Directors to share, deploy and align best practice processes to drive and sustain clinical excellence goals across the health system. Works with physicians and leaders to develop and sustain a robust clinical documentation improvement program and medical record integrity across regional areas of responsibility. Provides leadership and guidance to managers, identifying patterns or trends and opportunities for improvement. Oversees regulatory readiness activities and coordinates with system VP Clinical Excellence on medical staff peer review activities. Manages regional operational, budgetary and financial responsibilities and activities. Evaluates performance and professional development of direct reports and ensures achievement of measurable performance goals.
