Join our team as a Saw Operator where you will play a crucial role in crafting industrial-sized waste handling equipment, such as cardboard or trash compactors. You will be responsible for operating the saw and cutting steel tubing for machines, requiring precise measurements and blueprint reading. Proficiency in computer operations and keen attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate saw equipment to cut steel tubing for machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Measure materials with precision using a tape measure.
• Ensure computer systems are used effectively for operations.
• Maintain attention to detail for quality assurance.

Work Environment

Work in a comfortable, air-conditioned facility. The role operates on the 1st shift from 6am to 2pm, with potential to work until 4pm if necessary, from Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelbyville, MI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
