HYBRID Billing Quality Control Coordinator (Burlington / Durham NC)

Labcorp seeks a Billing Quality Control Coordinator for a hybrid role in North Carolina focused on managing revenue cycle challenges, analyzing financial data, and optimizing billing processes. The position requires expertise in medical billing compliance and involves cross-functional collaboration to improve collection rates and reduce revenue leakage.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-risk accounts and systemic billing issues to prevent revenue loss and improve collections
• Analyze billing data to identify trends, defects, and financial outcomes requiring corrective action
• Train internal teams and clients on compliance, medical necessity documentation, and payer requirements
• Collaborate across billing, sales, operations, and client services to align processes and accountability
• Develop reporting systems and provide actionable insights to leadership on revenue cycle performance

Requirements

• Associate degree and 3+ years in medical or insurance field, or 5+ years without degree
• Proficiency with Labcorp billing software systems (LCBS, LCLS, LINK)
• Knowledge of medical and insurance billing regulations and payer compliance
• Experience teaching, training, and supporting customers in billing contexts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and self-management abilities

Compensation: $42,000-$65,000
