Opportunity Overview The Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC is seeking a faculty candidate for the Headache Division. The faculty member will serve as a clinician or clinician‑scientist in the Headache program under the leadership of Dr. Page B. Pennell, Chair of Neurology, and Dr. Robert Kaniecki, Headache Division Chief. Responsibilities Provide clinical care as a board‑certified headache physician. Conduct patient‑oriented research or participate in the available clinical research foundational funds. Collaborate with neuroophthalmology, neurovestibular, psychiatry, neurosurgery, and the UPMC Concussion program. Engage in teaching and mentorship of fellows and APPs. Eligibility & Qualifications Medical (MD or DO) or DO degree. Completed a Headache fellowship. Board certified or eligible in Neurology and Headache Medicine. Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license. Opportunity Details The division includes five adult and one pediatric board‑certified headache physicians, three APPs, and one to two fellows each year. Compensation & Benefits Sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance. Competitive base salary and rank commensurate with experience. Faculty appointment at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Salary support for vacation: 4 weeks; CME allowance: 2 weeks. Outstanding benefit package.
