We have a great opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic for our Maintenance department. Must have your tools and be able to travel 25% of the time. Here, you'll do preventative maintenance and minor repairs on the newest and best-maintained fleet of vehicles in the industry. You will help our chauffeurs keep their vehicles in shape and on the road. For the qualified candidate, we provide a service vehicle, fuel allowance, diverse experiences, and full-time employment opportunities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:On-site maintenance of our fleet in our outdoor facility (with at home repairs flexibility)Perform preventive maintenance: oil changes, brake adjustment, repairs deemed DVIR.Conducting diagnostic testing on fleet vehiclesKeeping detailed records of all vehicles that they serviceConduct inspections of diesel machinery and vehicles to detect signs of possible deteriorationDisassemble, overhaul, rebuild, repair, recondition, replace and maintenance parts of the engine, pumps, generators, transmission, clutches, differential unions, pistons, bearings, gear and valves.Operate company vehicles: park, move, position, test and perform road/services callsOTHER DUTIES: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
