Position: Inventory Control / QA Associate (Temp-to-Perm)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Note: Overtime may be required.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Inventory Control / QA Associate with strong communication and organizational skills who enjoys working with people daily. This role supports inventory accuracy and warehouse operations, ensuring processes and procedures are consistently followed. The ideal candidate is flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and bin location variances
• Research and resolve issues related to problem orders and receipts
• Enter and maintain accurate data in the Order Management System
• Perform system transactions to maintain inventory and bin accuracy
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and minimize shrink
• Conduct product counts and stage materials in designated areas
• Ensure quality assurance processes and standards are followed
• Operate warehouse equipment and material handling tools
• Utilize warehouse management systems to maintain documentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Maintain a strong work ethic and attention to detail to support smooth operations

What You'll Do on a Typical Day

• Maintain accurate inventory counts
• Perform product counts and audits
• Ensure adherence to QA processes and procedures
• Stage and organize materials within assigned areas
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Use warehouse systems to complete and track work

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience with order management or inventory systems in a high-volume environment
• Basic clerical and data entry skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math skills
• Ability to build effective working relationships
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs at times
• Regularly transport up to 20 lbs
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts)
• Ability to work in a distribution center environment, including:
  • Varying temperatures
  • Moderate to consistent noise levels
  • Working at varying heights
