Customer Account Representative

This position is accountable for providing quality service by handling inbound orders in a customer contact center. Performs duties that require knowledge of company policies and procedures, including pricing, contract review, product specifications and applications, quote, and order entry, returns and credit requests.

Essential functions include performing contract review on incoming orders, adhering to company policies, acting as a liaison for Garlock Customers, preparing special order checklists, contributing towards a positive work environment, embracing and driving change, maintaining accurate records, participating in project teams, developing a working knowledge of Garlock products, services, and company policies, editing and correcting orders, and understanding shipping terms.

Competencies include collaborating, managing conflict, demonstrating self-awareness, and engaging in self-development.

Job specifications include an Associates Degree in Business or equivalent experience, professional verbal and written communication skills, comfort working with computers, ability to perform multiple functions in a fast-paced environment, analytical and problem-solving abilities, flexibility in work schedule, and basic organizational skills.

Physical requirements include performing sedentary work, ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs, and clarity of vision to see near and mid-range.
