Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Access Patrol in Avon, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You may support sensitive areas and assist with individuals requiring intervention. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeThur07:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, verifying credentials as applicable, and reporting unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements Must meet hospital vaccination requirements. Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary. This is primarily a driving post. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
