ICWA Specialist: Native American Child Welfare Advocate
New Mexico Department of Justice
The New Mexico Department of Justice is seeking an ICWA Protective Service Specialist to provide child welfare services to Native American children in Albuquerque. This role focuses on case management, compliance with the Indian Child Welfare Act, and collaborative efforts with Tribal agencies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field and extensive knowledge of ICWA, along with bilingual skills for effective communication with Tribal leadership.
