Position Quality Inspector Department Quality Job Description The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing regular product evaluations and recording inspection results for injected and extruded cores in accordance with Core-Tech and customer specifications. Duties And Responsibilities Read specifications to understand the quality requirements Dimensionally inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced Perform visual inspection of ceramic cores per customer specifications Report inspection and test data Maintain product tractability Control non-conforming material Perform final visual inspection X-ray inspection Minimum Job Specifications High school diploma or equivalent qualification Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques Ability to use calipers and micrometers Good math and technical skills Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions Working knowledge of MS Office Organization Relationships The Quality Inspector reports directly to the Quality Department Supervisor.
