Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00–19:30 | Every other weekend and some holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an intensive care unit setting, managing complex and critically ill patients
• Float across multiple ICU and progressive care units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Adapt care delivery across varied ICU populations including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, IMC/Progressive, and General care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of inpatient acute care experience in the ICU specialty within the last three years
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with strict criteria for lethal rhythm identification)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple ICU subspecialties such as Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, or Trauma Surgery
• Familiarity with IMC, Progressive, and General care patient populations
