Job Summary

We are seeking a  Temp Fleet Analyst I  who will support all aspects of the company’s fleet vehicles throughout their complete operational lifecycle, with a primary focus on fleet data accuracy, telematics and dashcam program execution, and operational reporting. Working closely with Fleet Support (Supply Chain), HSEI, Operations, and third-party vendors, this role ensures fleet assets are properly deployed, connected, and accounted for. This position requires strong organizational skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a collaborative, customer-service-driven mindset to maintain reliable data integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Order dashcams and related telematics hardware, track vendor shipments, and coordinate site deliveries across corporate operational locations.
• Manage and schedule third-party installers, ensuring hardware setups and vehicle retrofits are completed accurately and on time.
• Assign dashcam devices to specific fleet vehicles within system databases, verify real-time connectivity, and troubleshoot baseline system errors.
• Maintain downstream tracking and reporting related to dashcam deployment milestones, active device usage, and telematics data quality.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate fleet inventory records and detailed motor vehicle specifications across the asset management system.
• Prepare, review, and validate recurring fleet reports, performing data entry, exception handling, and data cleansing to protect database integrity.
• Analyze operational equipment needs and field usage metrics to support data-driven fleet sizing and allocation decisions.
• Assist senior analysts with cost-benefit studies related to vehicle configurations, replacement cycles, and fleet standardized specs.
• Maintain, organize, and update documentation for fleet policies, operating procedures, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Fleet Support, HSEI, Operations, and external vendors to uphold operational efficiency and safety compliance.
• Deliver clear, reliable data insights and regular status updates regarding fleet metrics to leadership and internal stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to field inquiries, system access requests, and fleet support tickets with a strong customer service approach.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or Accounting preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, fleet management, category management, procurement, automotive, or safety-related roles.
• Above-average Microsoft Excel skills required (ability to perform lookups, construct pivot tables, perform data cleansing, and run basic data analysis).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills with the proven ability to work independently following initial onboarding.
• Prior experience with company fleet programs, dashcams, GPS telematics, or safety-tracking initiatives. (Preferred)
• Previous exposure to logistics, fleet, automotive, oil & gas, or industrial safety environments. (Preferred)
• Familiarity with enterprise fleet management and telematics systems such as Holman Insights, Geotab, or similar platforms. (Preferred)
