This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing therapy to support clients in their recovery journey. The Primary Therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes for clients. **Position Responsibilities:*** Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use disorders.* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.* Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.* Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet changing needs and goals.* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.* Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.* Provide crisis intervention as needed and develop safety plans for clients at risk.* Educate clients and families about mental health and substance use disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.* Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health and addiction treatment to enhance service delivery.## Qualifications**Required Education:*** Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.* CPR Certification**Required Experience:*** Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, preferably in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment.* Proven track record of developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.* Experience in conducting individual and group therapy sessions.* Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.**Required Skills and Abilities:*** Strong understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.* Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all professional interactions.* Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment approaches based on client needs and progress.* Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
