Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years Minimum License: Active Nursing License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: 1. 2 Years of Experience Required 2. First-Time Travelers Welcome 3. Required Certifications Description: The position is for an ICU Registered Nurse. The shift is 36 or 48 hours per week. Block scheduling is accommodated. Floating to other units is required. Rotating weekends every three weeks is needed. Patient ratios are typically 1:2, with adjustments based on acuity. Candidates should have experience with diverse patient populations. Management of complex medical cases is expected. Critical care skills including arterial line management, chest tube insertion, and ventilator management are essential. Knowledge of emergency medications and cardiac drips is required. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is necessary. The role includes direct patient care for adults and geriatric populations. Effective communication and organizational skills are important for success in this position.
