Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing clear and compassionate explanations throughout each procedure
• Partner with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic results
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any technical issues promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical record systems
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge regarding advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques

Education Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is favored
