Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour . Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS:

• Weekend: $1.75/hour

SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE!

• $1,200 Sign On Bonus with a 1-year work commitment.

• Must be of legal age to sign a contract, which is at least 18 years old, to be eligible for a sign on bonus. Candidates under 18 years old may still be considered for the position but are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The PCT/CNA-Float provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed. Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs. This position requires floating to various departments within the medical center.


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


-Licensure/ Certification: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS


-Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

-Education: High School Diploma or GED


-Experience: Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment.


-Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients.
