Truck Customer Service Representative - Entry level

Position Summary ExFreight is seeking a Truck Customer Service Representative to join our Operations team at our Lake Worth, Florida headquarters . This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for providing exceptional customer support for truck freight shipments throughout North America. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, is highly organized, and is committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and chat. Assist customers with freight quotes, shipment bookings, modifications, and cancellations. Monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery and proactively communicate shipment updates. Resolve shipment exceptions including delays, missed pickups, damages, shortages, and delivery issues. Coordinate with trucking carriers, terminals, warehouses, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure timely service. Review Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipment documentation, and shipping instructions for accuracy. Educate customers on LTL, Full Truckload (FTL), cross-border shipping, transit times, and accessorial services. Utilize ExFreight's digital transportation platform and Transportation Management System (TMS) to manage customer shipments. Maintain detailed shipment notes and customer records. Escalate operational issues when necessary while maintaining ownership of customer communication. Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous customer service experience required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Comfortable working with technology, web-based platforms, and Microsoft Office. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
