Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse - Nights, located in the organizations healthcare facility. This role involves providing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The ICU Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care to support patient well-being and recovery.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 3-12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required qualifications include an ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school, a current RN license in the practice state, and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelors degree of Nursing and certification relevant to the unit or service.
• Responsibilities include evaluating health status through ongoing health data assessment, performing health teaching and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, referencing patients as needed, and monitoring therapy and treatment plans.
• Additional duties involve documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, using available resources effectively, and potentially floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs.
• May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
