Food Services Assistant PRN

Food Services Assistant (PRN) – Join HCA Florida South Shore Hospital to support our cafeteria and patient dining services. Responsibilities Perform routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food. Prepare food items for cooking by washing, peeling, shredding, slicing, and mixing. Operate dishwasher or assist with washing/sterilizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, etc. Clean kitchen work areas and dispose of garbage. Assist with food stocking. Serve food in cafeteria for visitors and staff and in patient rooms. Work in the dish room as needed. Work on patient tray assembly line following menu directives for determining food items for each tray. Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
