Position Overview
We are seeking a highly autonomous, copy-centric, and data-minded Email Content Marketing Strategist to join our centralized marketing division under a permanent, full-time remote layout based in India. In this critical conversion-focused channel seat, you will take absolute strategic ownership over our highest-potential, under-leveraged customer channel—governing both dynamic broad-market broadcast campaigns and hyper-segmented behavioral lifecycle flows. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated data transcription entry, simple visual website CSS formatting, or standalone technical backend code compilation, you will run an active narrative positioning, audience split-testing, and deliverability calibration laboratory—partnering face-to-face with internal brand, creative, and technical groups. This position requires an email marketing authority with 2-4 years of professional history who structures copy funnels fluidly natively using Email Marketing and conversion copy primitives, speaks directly to a college-age consumer audience with genuine personality, orchestrates high-volume subscriber databases within modern ESP platforms, and commits to essential work schedule alignment with our 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST shift framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Narrative Governance: Conceptualize, draft, and oversee the full copy assembly across all major marketing moments—holding final validation authority over subject lines, preview text fields, headers, body copies, and CTAs natively utilizing Email Marketing standards.
- Lifecycle Program Optimization: Architect and scale conversational, behavioral lifecycle flows—including high-value welcome series loops, post-purchase nurturing tracks, cart/browse abandonment rules, re-engagement pipelines, and client win-backs.
- Continuous Retention Auditing: Systematically audit our existing subscriber lifecycle maps, parsing performance metrics to identify engagement gaps and structural friction points where potential customer conversion is being dropped.
- Rigorous A/B Testing Experiments: Formulate and run systematic, data-backed split tests across subject line formulas, creative copy approaches, and layout configurations, documenting performance parameters to optimize open and click indices.
- Deliverability Telemetry Monitoring: Track, manage, and report on core technical deliverability metrics—encompassing inbox placement factors, open rates, click-through rates (CTR), bounce balances, unsubscribe patterns, and spam complaint thresholds.
- List Hygiene & Suppression Management: Implement and enforce strict sender reputation protocols, regulating list warm-up sequences, active engagement segmentation blocks, and suppression list parameters.
- Cross-Functional Asset Engineering: Partner directly with embedded corporate brand, design, and technical teams to align content creation calendars cleanly with the overarching corporate market map.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-4 years of proven professional history operating inside an Email Marketing Manager, Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, Content Marketer, or closely related direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital copy capacity where writing served as your primary craft.
- Expert ESP Stack Fluency: Deep, hands-on production history administering, configuring, and deploying complex automated workflows natively inside enterprise Email Service Providers or marketing platforms (such as Iterable, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or Braze ).
- Demonstrated technical command reading consumer analytics data, with an established ability to diagnose whether an open-rate drop points to a subject line copy failure or an upstream database segmentation problem.
- Exceptional written and presentation communication strengths in English, with a proven ability to write with distinct flair, attitude, and personality tailored to B2C or consumer demographics rather than dry B2B enterprise prose.
- Shift Framework Alignment: Absolute professional willingness and availability to systematically maintain an operational shift layout of 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST (India Standard Time) .
- Location Context: Position operates under remote parameters open exclusively to qualified email growth strategists residing permanently inside India .
