Loan Processor

Western Commerce Bank is looking for applicants to fill a loan servicing department position. Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel, have good keyboarding skills, have excellent communication skills, and close attention to detail. Candidate must be able to work independently after training and be highly motivated. Candidate must have at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Candidate must have previous office experience, and previous banking, financial, or lending experience of at least 1-3 years. We offer benefits to those who qualify including 401k. Responsible for processing, administration, and closing of various types of loans. Assists loan officers with activities such as extension of new loans. Answers routine customer questions regarding loans and loan application. Processes and administers existing loans in the following areas (but may not do for all loan areas): installment, commercial, business, and mortgage loans. Records new applications and loans. May obtain credit information and ensure sufficient loan collateral. Establishes relevant files and processes loan payments. Prepares loan and credit reports as requested. Answers customer inquiries and resolves routine problems. Fill out necessary forms and reports as required by bank procedure and law. Follow all bank and other procedures as required by law. Follow branch opening and closing procedures. Knowledge of Horizon core banking system a plus. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
