Program Administrator- Sports

The Twin Lakes YMCA in Cedar Park, TX is hiring a Sports Program Administrator for our youth sports department. Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, and dependable. A background in coaching is preferred, but not necessary. Candidates must enjoy working with children and have a positive attitude! Must be available to work weekends (Friday evening and Saturdays) when sports leagues are in-season. Job Responsibilities Act as primary contact/respondent for related emails and voicemails Assist with program registration forms, rosters, updating scores in tracking system, and provide weekly program registration reports Assist with distribution of supplies, uniforms, equipment, etc. Assist with recruiting and tracking of volunteer coaches and coaching applications Assist with staff scheduling Assist with staff recruitment and interview scheduling Assist with staff training Assist with Specialty Camps as needed Support coaches and staff during sports programming Set up facilities and ensure that the sports site is safe and clean Job Requirements Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills Experience with program development and implementation Must hold a high school diploma or GED CPR/AED and First Aid certified or willing to be certified within first 30 days of employment Be willing to uphold the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, respect, and faith Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal history check and sex offender registry check, and reference checks Pay Rate $18.00 to $20.00/hour About Us We are a not-for-profit services Association focusing on mission driven initiatives, with a vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities throughout 7 Texas Counties.
