• Comfort working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for tasks and equipment.

You will contribute directly to mission-driven work by collecting donated goods that support charitable efforts and create a visible impact in the community. The role offers independence and autonomy, allowing you to work largely on your own with minimal supervision while managing your daily schedule and workflow. You can expect stability and structure with a consistent schedule, clearly defined routes, and well-established responsibilities. This is an active, hands-on position ideal for those who prefer movement over desk work, combining driving with physical activity throughout the day. You will also have the opportunity to build valuable skills in logistics and route planning, commercial driving, and operations and warehouse coordination, supporting long-term career growth in transportation and operations.

The work environment is primarily road- and field-based, with most of the day spent driving a 1626 box truck and traveling between donation bins and designated drop-off locations. The schedule follows a consistent structure with expected availability Monday through Saturday, reflecting a route-based operation with clearly defined stops. The role is physically active, requiring frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, loading and unloading donated goods, and moving items in and out of the vehicle. You will use route software, collection logs, and basic data entry tools to track collections and document routes. Safety is a core focus, with routine vehicle inspections, adherence to defensive driving practices, and compliance with company safety procedures. The position involves working both outdoors at donation sites and in coordination with operations or warehouse environments where goods are received and processed.
