General Maintenance Technician

Koss Property Maintenance is looking for a dependable and motivated General Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and can work independently while managing a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple properties.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and helping keep properties clean, functional, and tenant-ready.

Responsibilities:

• Complete general maintenance and repair tasks
• Assist with apartment/unit turns between tenants
• Handle tenant maintenance work orders in a timely manner
• Painting, patching, and basic drywall repairs
• Junk removal and general property clean-up
• General lawn care and exterior upkeep
• Light plumbing repairs and fixture replacements
• Basic troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Maintain organized tools, supplies, and work areas
• Travel between multiple property locations as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior maintenance, handyman, construction, or property maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Comfortable using basic tools and equipment
• Ability to lift, move, and carry materials as needed
• Strong communication and professionalism with tenants and team members
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality work
