Manufacturing Engineering TechnicianWork Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.Position SummaryWe are seeking a driven, collaborative Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team. In this multifaceted role, you will work cross-functionally with multiple production support departments. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Department, you will play an immediate role in our success while continuously growing your skill set over time. If you want to make an immediate impact and expand your technical skills in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.Schedule: Mon – Thurs 5 am – 3:30pmResponsibilitiesPartnering cross-functionally with engineering teams throughout the entire project lifecycle (conception, design, fabrication, assembly, programming, testing, guarding, optimization, and production handoff)New equipment builds and retrofitsCollaborating on the reverse engineering and optimization of legacy equipment.Working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsMig and Tig welding of fixtures, parts, and framesLight sheet metal fabrication to print or in-field fitmentElectrical control cabinet layout and wiring (PLCs, VFDs, Etc.)Opportunity, if desired, to program PLCs / motion controllersFabricating or modifying parts on mill and/or lathePreparing equipment for shipment (skids, crates, bracing)Coordinating the safe movement and optimization of manufacturing equipment layouts.Lean / Cost Out projects :Participate in lean eventsUse general knowledge to help reduce wasteUse fabrication and mechanical skills to improve production throughput and equipment functionalityAssist Maintenance DepartmentUse electro-mechanical skills in conjunction with root cause analysis to assist maintenance with in-depth equipment troubleshooting and repairGeneral facility wiring 120v-480v 3 phaseQualifications and RequirementsMechanical knowledgeMechanical assemblyMechanical troubleshootingMetal fabrication (MIG, shear, manual break)Basic electrical knowledgeBasic understanding of pneumatic systemsKnowledge of measuring devices (Tape measure, calipers, micrometers)Valid driver's licenseRegular availability for overtimeDesired Skills:Basic manual machining knowledgeForklift experienceRigging, lifting, and equipment moving experienceControl voltage knowledgeAbility to wire PLC and control cabinetsVFD installation and troubleshootingFollow and understand wiring diagram/schematicsMetal fabrication (TIG)Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, basic Excel)Prototrak or CNC ExperienceProven work experience as an Engineering Technician or similar roleAssociate's or technical degree in engineering technology or similarCAD (Solidworks)What you bring to the Team:Positive attitudeProactive mindsetAbility and drive to learn new skillsAbility to take constructive criticismInnovative MindsetOrganizationDetail-orientedSelf-StarterAbility to collaborate and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environmentPhysical RequirementsThis position is in a manufacturing environment and requires a person to be able to frequently walk, stand, bend, and twist; see, hear, and talk; use fingers and hands, with good hand and finger dexterity to handle or feel controls or products; use hands and arms to reach, hold, and carry product.Lifting/moving up to 75 lbs.Salary Range: $30 - $45/ hourRegal Rexnord is committed to providing market-competitive compensation and benefits, maintaining and ensuring a work environment that reflects our Regal Rexnord Values and culture everywhere we operate.
