Maintenance Assistant - Assisted Living FacilityWater's Edge of Lake Wales is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to join our team at our welcoming assisted living community. This full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our residents. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility to ensure safety and functionalityConduct inspections of common areas, resident rooms, and outdoor spacesAssist with preventative maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of equipment and facilitiesRespond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residentsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairsAssist with setup and breakdown for community events and activitiesEnsure compliance with safety standards and facility policiesSkills and Qualifications:Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related fieldStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skillsFlexibility to work some weekends as requiredKnowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportationAt Water's Edge of Lake Wales, we pride ourselves on fostering a caring and supportive environment for both our residents and staff.
