Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years of ER experience required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course), NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, and ACLS required Must-Have: BSN highly desired Description: The Emergency Room is a fast-paced environment that treats a wide variety of patients. The Emergency Room nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, and mass transfusion of blood. Patients range from urgent care and simple procedures to psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients. Emergency Room nurses coordinate and deliver care to patients with complex nursing care needs. This ensures the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience.
