Job Description:

Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team at a California State Prison!

This position plays a vital role in providing essential care to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details:

• Location: Susanville, CA
• Schedule: 5 days/week, 8 hour shifts
• Higher pay available for travelers located 50+ miles from the facility
• Employment Type: Contract

Qualifications:

• Active California CNA license (in good standing)
• At least 1 year of CNA experience
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to pass a strict background check
• Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and hygiene
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Supporting medical staff in wound care, patient transfers, and mobility assistance
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment while following facility policies and procedures
• Providing emotional support and communication to patients under supervision
• Ensuring compliance with state regulations and facility guidelines
