Travel Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery (L&D) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in postpartum care, demonstrated commitment to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality postpartum nursing care to patients.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to any changes appropriately.
Utilize fetal monitoring equipment and perform necessary assessments.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Assist in post-operative gynecological and urogynecology procedures as needed.
Educate patients and families regarding postpartum care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year of current acute care postpartum experience.
Current BLS and NRP certifications are required.
Preferred experience in OB, med-surg, or GYN nursing.
