Hospice Registered Nurse

Role: Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) (Per Diem) Responsibilities Apply nursing theories and concepts to patient care. Care for and document patient treatments in accordance with reimbursement guidelines. Coordinate physical care with patients, families, physicians, and the hospice team. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel. Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and quality reviews. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure in the state of practice. Successful completion of an approved nursing program. At least two years of clinical nursing experience; hospice experience preferred. Knowledge of home health and hospice care operations and the nurse’s role. Understanding of nursing practice acts, agency policies, and reimbursement guidelines. Commitment to ongoing education with 12 hours of continuing education annually. CPR certification and ability to travel as needed, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. #J-18808-Ljbffr
