Acute Radiation Therapist

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is looking to hire a dedicated, full-time Radiation Therapist to join a skilled team at a well-regarded acute-care facility in Texas. This role focuses on delivering radiation therapy treatments, following established protocols for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes.

Salary Range: $58,462 - $93,387 annually

Primary Duties:

• Radiation Therapy Administration: Collaborate with the oncology team to deliver personalized radiation therapy, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
• Work Hours: Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Patient Guidance: Educate patients on the therapy process, answer their questions, and provide support throughout their treatment journey.
• Treatment Execution: Administer radiation treatments according to individualized care plans that address each patient's unique needs.

Requirements:

• ARRT Certification: Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is essential.
• MRT Certification: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
• CPR/BLS Certification: Must have a current Basic Life Support certification.
• Texas Radiologic Technologist License: Must hold a valid and active license.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in operating linear accelerators, CT scanners, and related computer systems.
